4 Gluten-Free breakfasts to reduce bloating

6 March 16 gluten free breakfastsFood allergies and intolerances have risen to epidemic proportions. One of the most common complaints I hear from my IBS suffering clients is that they just simply don`t know what to eat anymore. Everything they eat inflames their digestive symptoms and causes them to bloat as if they were 5 months pregnant. How many times have I heard that before!
An allergy is defined as having an adverse immune response to a food protein. One of the most common food allergies is an intolerance to gluten.

I`d like to offer you 3 gluten free alternatives you can enjoy for breakfast that will help to reduce uncomfortable gas and bloating:
1. Almond flour works very well for baking breakfast muffins.

2. Craving oatmeal but staying away from oats? A breakfast porridge of amaranth topped with pecans and cranberries is a delicious and hearty alternative.

3. Want pancakes but can`t tolerate the wheat? Try buckwheat flour pancakes. Buckwheat is actually a seed, not a grain so it`s much easier on digestion.
Enjoy these quick gluten free alternatives for breakfast!

4. My all time favorite is the plaintain waffles I prepare a batch of every single week. They are a huge hit around here. Check out my video on how to prepare them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiiLYm2DyWM

There are many delicious recipes for the above breakfast options. The goal here was to get some seeds planted.

Enjoy!
